About the Pastor

Hi, I’m Jr Pastor Dominic, appointed by Pastor Gene Kim from San Jose Bible Baptist Church, California, to minister and lead Penang Bible Baptist Church.

I was born and raised here in Penang, hence familiar with the local demographics and the culture of this city.

I came to Christ and accepted Jesus as my savior in March, 2019, but it was only about a year later that I came to Bible believing truth. I underwent RBB’s 'Won by One' discipleship course in 2021 and went to Pastor Gene Kim’s church to get water baptized in 2022.

Fast forward to December 2025, we held our first Penang Real Bible Believer’s Conference hosted by Pastor Gene Kim, which led to the inception of our own church here.

We are fundamentalists, meaning we take God’s words (KJV only) as our final authority. Our church welcomes people who want the same truth and who are hungry for the word of God. If you are looking for a local church which teaches salvation by grace through faith and dispensationalism, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15), then this church is for you.
